RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Artemuse threads.

1. GENERAL POLICY

Artemuse threads. operates as a rental service. Due to the nature of garment rentals, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect event planning, or personal preference.

All bookings are subject to the cancellation and store credit conditions outlined below.

Refunds will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

2. CHANGE OF MIND

We do not offer refunds for:

• Change of mind
• Event cancellation
• Choosing a different outfit
• Personal circumstances
• Failure to read product descriptions
• Late event scheduling

Eligible cancellations may receive store credit in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

3. SIZE ISSUES (POSTAL RENTALS)

If your garment does not fit:

• You must contact Artemuse threads. within 6 hours of receiving the item
• Clear photographs must be provided
• The item must be lodged for return via express post on the same day

If approved and the item is returned unworn:

• A single-use store credit will be issued
• A $30 administration fee will apply
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Sizing claims are not valid where a studio trial appointment was attended prior to booking.

4. FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you believe you have received:

• A damaged item
• A faulty garment
• An incorrect style

You must notify Artemuse threads. within 6 hours of delivery and provide clear images.

If confirmed, we may offer:

• A replacement garment (subject to availability), or
• Store credit, or
• Refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law

Claims made outside the 6-hour notification window may not be accepted.

5. POSTAGE DELAYS

Artemuse threads. is not responsible for courier delays.

If a confirmed delivery delay significantly impacts your booking:

Once the garment is returned, you may choose:

• A refund minus shipping cost ($29), or
• 110% store credit valid for 6 months

The garment must be returned before any remedy is processed.

6. LATE RETURNS

Refunds will not be issued for late returns.

If a garment is returned after the agreed date:

• $30 per day late fee applies
• Continued delay may result in replacement charges

7. DAMAGE OR EXCESSIVE WEAR

Refunds or credits will not be issued if a garment is returned:

• With permanent damage
• Heavily stained
• Altered
• Washed or dry cleaned without permission

Minor wear consistent with normal rental use is acceptable.

8. NON-RETURNED ITEMS

If an item is not returned within 15 days of the due date:

• It will be deemed permanently unreturned
• 150% of the retail value may be charged
• Late fees may still apply

No refund or credit will be issued in such cases.

9. REFUND PROCESSING

Where a refund is approved:

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
• Processing times depend on your financial institution
• Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law

10. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a remedy as required by law.
